I’m Olivia! I am a professional journalist, editor, writer, photographer, and creative.

My Qualifications:

With my extensive editorial and communications experience, I excel at managing teams, overseeing projects, maintaining attention to detail, and meeting tight editorial deadlines. I am proficient in Adobe software, Squarespace, WordPress, Google and Microsoft products, AP style, and other style guides. Additionally, I have expertise in marketing photography and creating engaging social media content.

My Experience:

I am a senior journalism major and photojournalism minor, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Union University. Over the past two years, I served as Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor of my university’s award-winning student-led magazine, the Cardinal & Cream, and completed internships in communications, writing, copy editing, photography, and social media. I also recently received first place for Best of the South Opinion/Editorial Writer at the Southeast Journalism Conference, competing again every school in the SEC, along with many other Conference USA and Sunbelt programs.

I have also written and edited for Lifeway Christian Resources, where I worked as an internal communications intern, and theCO as a communications intern. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in editing.
